Tasting - "Woodbridge Riesling"
- Name: Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Riesling
- Variety: Riesling
- Region: Lodi, California American Viticultural Area (AVA)
- Country: United States
- Year: Non-vintage

- Wine Critic Review: "With delicate aromas of jasmine, stone fruit, and crisp citrus, our Riesling is an excellent alternative to more traditional whites. The wine's combination of rich, round textures, lightly sweet flavor, and refreshing acidity makes it easy to enjoy. With a slightly lower alcohol content, this Riesling is the perfect wine to pair with a variety of foods, including lightly sautéed chicken, seared scallops, or a crisp apple tart. Or serve it chilled by itself on a warm afternoon." (https://www.woodbridgewines.com/Wines/riesling.php)
- My Review: The wine had a sharp, fresh scent to start but a sweet, urine-like note lingered. Upon the first sip, the wine was sweet and fresh without a lot of depth in flavor. It was very light and drinkable.
- I did not have the wine with any food.
