- Wine Critic Review: "This sparkler is medium-dry with crisp fruit flavors. The aromas of apple and pear are balanced with a bouquet of toasty yeast notes and floral nuances." (https://www.totalwine.com/wine/champagne-sparkling-wine/sparkling-wine/brut/j-roget-brut/p/1504817?bvstate=pg:2/ct:r)
- My Review: I really enjoyed this sparkling wine. It had a subtle fresh scent and was not as bubbly as other sparkling wines I've had. I enjoyed this as it made the wine very drinkable. It was on the drier side and was not overly sweet.
- I had this wine at a Superbowl party. We enjoyed it alongside some typical party foods such as chips with guacamole and queso. We also had it with some non-traditional mango sriracha cauliflower "wings" that my vegan friend made. The champagne paired well with the variety of dishes. The dry flavor was mild and complemented the sweetness of the mango in the cauliflower wings and the saltiness of the chips and dip.
